This great TR6 has been with SOVREN for many years. Great build, on Weber’s, limited slip 3.70, huge suspension upgrades, brake upgrades, long list! The engine features a steel billet crank, revs to 7k. D9 cam by Delta, double valve springs, Tilton clutch, Stage 3 head mod, spin-on oil filter system, double ender fuel pumps. Also has the factory fuel tank location with Fuel Safe . Many of this car’s upgrades were guided by the legend, Kas Kastner. I have two extra VW mid-engine transaxles, I have used on the track, which I wish to sell. One is a “short box”, the other a “long box”. Includes the axles, axle tubes, backing plates and throw out bearings all assembled ready to install in a Formula Vee race car. Photo shows the short box assembly. Will separate. This car has an extensive race history since being converted to a race car in the 1970s. It has been raced up and down the West Coast, including Riverside, Orange County, Laguna, Willow Springs, Thunder Hill, Portland, Seattle, Spokane, and Mission B.C. (Racing logbooks are available from the 1980s on.) The car underwent a full restoration in 2000-2001, and has been run full-time in the Pacific Northwest with SOVREN since then.
