Younger drivers race more for less with SOVREN!

SOVREN is pleased to announce the Youthful Driver Assistance Program for the 2025 season. The program was designed after an analysis of participation data and conversations with many drivers in the 40 and Under age group. We heard that younger drivers aren’t sure SOVREN wants them and that cost is a challenge.

Make no mistake: SOVREN wants, needs, and welcomes younger drivers and we hear that it’s expensive. Here is what we’re doing about it:

What you get as a YoDA driver:

• Waived annual membership ($100) and license ($100) fees.
• 75% off your second race entry every year.

What you need to qualify and race with SOVREN:

• Age 40 or under on January 1 of the race season.
• A race-prepared and approved car 25 or more years old. YES! You read that right: For 2025, cars from 2000 or prior are eligible. Want to race a Miata, Monte Carlo, 350Z, or a Rabbit? You can with SOVREN!
• A racing license or provisional license from SOVREN, a SOVREN-approved school, or SOVREN-accepted racing organization.

• Create an account at MSR, if you don’t already have one.
• Make sure you have your birthday in your MSR profile.
• That’s it! You can use the form below to contact us to make sure we have you signed up.

Details:

• Eligibility is based on driver age on January 1 of the race season/year: A driver who is 40 or under on January 1 meets the age eligibility requirement for the entire season.
• Drivers must be in good standing with SOVREN; drivers who cannot meet the entry requirement due to license suspension are ineligible for YoDA benefits.
• Drivers receiving the waived membership and/or license benefit must enter two SOVREN events that season to qualify for those benefits the following year.
• Drivers who do not complete the fee and license waiver requirements can pay those fees the following year and re-qualify for the waivers if they enter two or more events.
