SOVREN, the Society Of Vintage Racing ENthusiasts, is a Seattle based non-profit racing organization with members throughout Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia who are owners and admirers of older sports cars with racing histories. Ownership of a vintage race car is not necessary for membership.
There are 6 racing events throughout the year, including a historic hill climb on the first asphalt road in Washington. We race at Pacific Raceways in Seattle, Spokane Country Raceway in Spokane and Portland International Raceway in Portland. Our biggest event of the year is the Pacific Northwest Historics held the first weekend in July benefiting Seattle Children’s Hospital. For 2014 we are celebrating 50 years of the Ford Mustang.
We accept period correct production cars prior to 1973 and purpose built race cars prior to 1989. Each racing event will have a minimum of 4 race classes with additional classes as required by the amount of entries. At our last event we had 4 classes running with each participant getting 2 hours and 40 minutes of seat time.
There are three ways to enjoy SOVREN Vintage Racing: RACE, EXPERIENCE, or PARTICIPATE. Learn more below.
